How cropping works on this tool
Drag a keep-rectangle
On the preview, drag to select what stays. Resize with corner and edge handles until margins look right.
All pages or current page
Apply one crop to the whole document, or switch to “current page only” when a single sheet needs a different trim.
New pages from the selection
Each kept region is rendered and written into a new PDF page sized to that crop — empty borders outside the box are gone.
Trade-off: flattened visuals
Cropped output uses page images. Text is no longer selectable/copyable afterward. Need search later? Run OCR on the result.

Choose a file up to 25 MB. Page thumbnails open so you can jump to the sheet with the worst margins.
Draw the keep-area
Drag on the canvas, adjust handles, and pick “all pages” or “current page only.”

How do I choose what to keep?
Drag on the preview to draw a rectangle, then resize it with the handles. Everything outside that box is trimmed away.
Can I crop only one page?
Yes. Select “Current page only,” adjust that page’s crop, and download. Or choose “All pages” for a uniform trim.
Will text still be selectable after cropping?
No. Cropped pages are rebuilt as images. Use OCR afterward if you need searchable text again.
How large can the PDF be for cropping?
Up to 25 MB. Longer files take more time because each page is rendered.
Is Crop the same as Rotate?
No. Rotate changes orientation. Crop cuts margins and keeps a selected region.
Is Crop the same as Remove Pages?
No. Remove Pages deletes entire pages. Crop trims content inside pages you keep.
Will the file get larger after cropping?
Sometimes — image pages can outweigh the original text PDF. Compress afterward if needed.
Are my files uploaded to crop?
No. Cropping runs in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib.
Should I rotate before cropping?
Yes if pages are sideways — orient first so you crop the correct edges.
Do I need a pdfLaunch account to crop a PDF?
