Remove PDF pages is for when the document is almost right: you do not need a second export of “the good parts,” you need the same file without the junk. Delete blank sheets, accidental duplicates, ad covers, or the wrong scan page, then download one cleaned PDF.
On pdfLaunch you click the pages you want gone. Counters show total pages, how many you marked for deletion, and how many will remain. The new file is built in your browser — we do not upload your PDF contents to delete pages.

Rule of thumb: if 90% of the PDF is fine and three pages are wrong, remove those three. If you only need pages 40–45 from a 200-page book, extract or split instead.

Blank or nearly blank sheets
Scanner jobs love trailing empties. Removing them shortens print jobs and makes the file look finished.
Duplicate captures
The same page scanned twice, or a fax cover repeated. Drop the extras; keep one clean copy.
Wrong attachment leftovers
A previous quote, an old price list, or someone else’s appendix stuck in the PDF you were asked to “just send.”
Privacy-sensitive sheets
A page with an ID number or medical note that should not travel with the rest. Deleting the page is stronger than hoping nobody scrolls. For blacking out text on a page you must keep, use Redact PDF.
After cleanup: size and structure
Removing pages reduces page count. It does not magically recompress photos on the pages you kept.

How do I delete pages from a PDF online?
Upload the PDF, select every page you want removed, confirm that “pages remaining” looks right, then download the cleaned file.
Can I remove multiple pages at once?
Yes. Select as many pages as you need in one pass. You do not have to download between deletions.
What if I select every page?
A PDF needs at least one remaining page. Leave at least one page unselected; the counters show remaining pages before you download.
Is remove the same as redact?
No. Remove deletes whole pages. Redact black out or permanently obscure content on pages you still need to keep.
Will deleting pages reduce file size a lot?
Dropping image-heavy pages helps. Deleting a blank text page may barely change megabytes. Compress afterward if the attachment is still too large.
Does this work without Adobe Acrobat?
Yes. It runs in your browser. No desktop license and no pdfLaunch account are required.
Can I undo after downloading?
The download is a new file. Your original stays on your device unless you overwrote it. Keep the original until you are happy with the cleaned version.
Do my files leave my computer?
For remove-pages, processing stays in the browser. Cloud pickers run only if you explicitly import a file.
How is this different from Organize PDF?
Organize focuses on reordering and rotating inside one file. Remove focuses on dropping pages you never want in that file again.
Can I remove pages from a scanned PDF?
Yes. Thumbnails help you spot blanks and bad scans. For searchable text on what remains, run OCR PDF after cleanup if needed.
